Blessing for the Lights for Liberty Action 7.12.19

Martin Luther King said, "Darkness
cannot drive out darkness, only light can.
Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can.
Bless you for being the love and the light.

May you have the nutrition, the rest, the joy,
and the courage to stay the course
of the difficult road ahead.

We stand together with our sisters and brothers
around the world. Bless all these people who
stand with us in solidarity for the incarcerated
children in their communities, as well as ours.

We stand upon Mother Gaia, the soul of the Earth.
May we recognize that she nurtures us,
and that we nurture her.

We stand in solidarity and love for the children
traumatized and languishing in detention camps
on our borders and throughout our country.
Bless them and their families
as they await reunification.

May we have the commitment, the patience,
and the strength to hold them in our hearts
until they have been liberated.
And they will be liberated!
