An offering
To
Please
One in my pocket
A spare

Hood

I was a teacher's pet
A
Pet
Shaped
Young vessel
Eager to turn styles and
Jump
Over
Trestles

An apple 
A smile
An eagerness to fill  
With lessons in justice
In kindness
Goodwill

But
Those apples
They earned me
Nothing
But

There wasn't any fairness
Or kindest
Goodwill

And I've learned
To keep apples
All
To
Myself
I store them all up
On my own 
Bitter
Shelf

Because
Just like Snow White 
I choked blue
On
The
Peel

And just like
Snow
White
I'm 
Half
Dead
And can't feel
