Poem -

Blindly Falling Forward

All the things we've done
Memories now dead and gone
Where did it all go wrong
What happened to that innocent song

The childhood
All the good
The times of ice-cream and sand
We can no longer understand

Because we've become rotten
We have forgotten
What it's like to be innocent
We're caught in setting cement

We all turn to dust
Driven by lust
Our actions are no longer just

We're trapped by concrete
Yet we will still not admit defeat

But we're already dead
Drowning in red
Making a blind and unkind bed

Just falling forward
But towards...what?
