Poem -

BLISS

There it was, laid, right in front of my eyes
The myriads of ordinary things that mattered the most in my life
There it was, with a possibility of rolling a dice
The clear sky full of infinite stars with a view not so rife

There it was, a million houses with each a story to tell
The sound of everyday chores knocking right at you
There it was, hundreds of trees with each their wind to sell
The sheer existence of which saves more than just a few

There it was, a divine big white cross
The sound of the bell as soothing as it could be
There it was, sounds of sacred chants for a good cause
The source of which stems from within thee

There I was, standing on the rooftop of my house
The sight that is never worthy of dismiss
There I was, trying to think of any possible grouse
Yet, there wasn’t a thing that would stop me from feeling bliss!
