Blossoms

She did to me.
That what springtime
does to apple and cherry trees.
My heart blossoms in wonder
after only a single kiss.

I try to explain to her
That it would take a
thousand Rembrandts
to capture her beauty
on canvas.

But she put her finger
Onto my lips and quietened me.
I want to smell the fragrance
of your blossoms
Each time I kiss you
She whispered.
