I am against the killing and the slaughtering of children

I am against firing of rockets in to your territory oblivion

As I am against sending of tanks over the mountains of your land

As I am against the manufacture of parts for your weapons,  unsatisfactory! 

I am against the revenue that you make from the sale of your ships,

When you scream and sweat piles 

Pain, I have seen your pain, your limp into the nights and into the day whereby you can no longer hold your own

I was against the creation of the bomb they called the A

When I saw Hiroshima, Pearl Harbour, Auschwitz, 

The battle of Crimea and Syria,  

I knew I was against all wars, regardless of which side of the fence you and I were on 

For I am against war

war manufacturing 

Instead I am all for the creation of lights for all the poor that exists in the world suffering 

I am against war budgets which take 1%, 2%, 3% of the GDP

You see

I am against war medals,  war decorations,  war marches and war corporations

For when I see the soldiers marching down the street 

I see children crying for their fathers and family obliteration 

I am against fly pasts with colours that brighten up the sky

I would prefer a blue sky; 

Have no wonder why

I am against the sonic booms, 

large war rooms 

where the plans of war unfold plotting against lives 

The rapes and taking of your wives 

For I am against war

I am against takeovers and land grabs, coup d'état and military government 

As I am against war camps, uniforms and khaki war tents 

Children playing with guns 

Don't mess with our sons 

I have only one

The manufacture of pride for me and you

If only victory was measured in 

the giving to the poor,  

And we shut the war chests and ended the dealing whores
