‘Blues and two’s’

“Emergency.. which service please” as I think of my ditty number ‘999’...Penning my poetry my mind wanders off to the accident line...Imagining the telephonists all sitting in neat rows... each & every one of them answering their headphone when it goes..

These girls are skilled to a perfection as they listen to their news.. filtering individual A & E’s in a list of importance in their queues...Ambulance, police & fireman are waiting on the other end ... to assist these misadaventures as soon as they are sent..

Such a tremendous set of heroes... without them what would one do?...whilst we applaud their immediate actions...’Blues and two’s’ we congratulate you...
