" THE "BOD" AT OXFORD "

In the atrium of
The Bodleian Library at Oxford
I spied a woman
Bathing
In a most sensual light
A white, porcelain, sculpture
Frozen perfectly in her time
Reminiscent of a Botticelli
A vision come to life
And as my imagination
Began to take me away
I considered, I heard her whisper
But somehow revealed, not a thing
My mind danced with the potential
Of intimacies encounter someday...
I saw myself bathing her
In bubbles and ambrosia's scent
While basking in her softened features
I felt the yearning of so many eyes
Who found themselves mesmerized
And drawn to her essential glow
I became overly protective of her
To the point of childlike jealousy
For never had I felt the coolness
Of marbled features upon my skin
And the way the light just held her there
I was living in a fashion
Or individually dreaming
And Loving
Each and every
Moment...
In the atrium of "The Bod"
At Oxford,
I met a woman draped in light
But then,
This was no ordinary
Woman,
Just a dream,
I'd brought
To life...

You`re welcome.

The story that Tony is similar to that of another story of love between a mortal and a stone sculpture set in a botanical garden.
In relation to the sculpture, know the author, if it wasn't for the slides could fit within the world classic, for its iconography reminds me of those stylized venus by Botticelli, but I gather that it must be the work of a neo-classical autor.
But turning to the composition of Tony, "The" Bod "at Oxford" seems a brilliant composition that describes perfectly what felt the author against a beautiful stone woman, a story that has been collected in numerous occasions, from the Tenorio crying at the imagery of marble, so that little swallow that fidelity to a sculpture offered his life and died frozen.
I loved the poem, still I have out there another poem by Tony Taylor who I could not comment yesterday, between today and tomorrow, I will try it and I'll leave my impressions.
En el atrio de "El tĂo"
en Oxford,
conocĂ a una mujer envuelta en la luz.
Pero entonces,
esto no fue ordinario
mujer,
sólo un sueño,
que yo habĂa llevado
a la vida...
I guess that Tony will be reading the translation with eyes wide, (LOL) in life as in the poem by Tony, everything, absolutely everything is an ephemeral Mirage, a Flash and an illusion.
A hug for everyone, I like Jack, I love everyone equally.
