Body Of Water

Body Of Water

Swimming in the middle of the ocean
for a land I never seen.
I have a tail but there aren't any feet.
I can feel the water covering me.
There isn't a safer place I'll rather be.
This world feel so empty when I'm floating above the surface
but when I inhale the water inside of my body; my nose feel the escape.
The water stretches so far over surrounding body of endless skies.
Salty is my normal, I wouldn't know what sweet taste like.
I let my waves carry me further out.
Maybe, I'm stuck in the middle
because I've never seen the beginning.
Maybe, this is my inner me
because I've never look at the outer me.
I'm eighty percent water and twenty percent body.
I'm a hundred percent sure I live in a body of water.
