Poem -

Bonded with Him

I cannot count the times,
That he has saved my life.
I can never know his heart....
No matter how I try.

My passion for him burns.
I long to know him more.
I know when he knocks
At my hearts very core
I'll be there just waiting
To open its door.

I cannot get enough of him.
I am swallowed in his life.
His words are like a two edged sword,
sharper then the knife.

And yet I feel his character;
I know that he is real.
With just one word, with just one glance
I will bear his seal.

His lips forever linger,
on the one he calls his own.
I will not be satisfied,
Until I am at home.

His mystery's forever wide,
I cannot jump across.
The things he did, the burden he bore,
He counted all as loss.

My heart's forever bonded,
To a man I barely know.
Someone who takes my sin from me,
And leaves me white as snow.
