Poem -

The book of longing

I live in the dark

Where we used to be.

Within silent memory

That ony I see.

The morning light brightens

All it finds in its sight

But misses the charcoal

Shadows you send in the night.

We Soared like  two eagles

But I sank like a stone

From mountain to abyss

I live all alone.

I pray to my angel

She leaves me in pain

Drink loves bitter cup

Again and again.

On parchment you scratch

Your life with your pen.

This is the book

I must read once again.
