Born In A Manger

Born In A Manger

 Born in a manger,
Mary held you tight,
Wrapped in a swadel,
Smiling with delight.

Holding you closely,
No sign of fright,
As she knew secret,
You were the Christ.

Wise men sought you,
Star, it would guide,
Shining so brightly,
High in the sky.

Finding the Savior,
They would bow down,
Giving you glory,
Gifts to lay down.

Angels would gather,
Shepherds to see,
Singing Hallelujah,
Praise to the King.
