Borrowed Time

Borrowed Time

Living on borrowed time that the way I see it to
be
Although I'm retired
my struggles are just the
same
No fairy tale ending
gone the dreams
of Country
cottages

To sit In a rocking
chair watching the sun go
down
All I have Is loneliness debt demanding letters through my
door
Bills I cannot pay
winter aproaching fast can't afford to heat my
home
I go to bed each night and pray I won't wake to the mornning
Light
No more loneliness
debt free no threatning letters through my door
no worries any more
To lay In restful permanent sleep
joined together again with my beloved
Wife.
