Poem -

Futile Dreams

What does dreaming achieve?

Does it surpass all you have hoped and desired

Like an expierience long yearned forΒ

Or does it disappoint with eradicated satisfactionΒ

And cause anxious, lustful desires rooted inΒ selfishnessΒ

Does it inspire happiness and joyous emotionΒ

Or does it spawn vexed feelings of abomination towards realityΒ

Like an unachived objective that is only now in imaginationΒ

Maybe it even torments the very fabric of your inclinations

Or maybe... It's was meant to just stay a dream.
