Poem -
A BRAND NEW DAY
I ASKED THE LORD TO GIVE ME A BRAND NEW DAY.
A DAY WHERE I WOULDN'T HAVE TO FEEL PAIN AND SORROW AND DREAD GETTING READY FOR WORK TOMMORROW.
A DAY WHERE I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HOW AM I GOING TO PAY MY BILLS OR FEED MY KIDS.
I HOPE THAT YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM UP AGAINST BECAUSE IN MY HOUSE HOLDĀ POVERTY DOES EXIST BUT IT IS UP TO US INDIVIDUALLY TO CONQUER IT.
THAT IS WHY IĀ AM PREPARING MYSELF AND MY CHILDRENĀ FOR A BRAND NEW DAY.
