BRAVE THE SHAVE

It's time for me to get my razor and begin
To tackle the hair which has grown under my chin
These two hours of my life I won't get back
My beard will now come under constant attack

Running hot water placed in an empty sink
Time for the shaving cream to be applied I think
My beard and myself go back a very long way
I have had it on my person exactly twenty years today

Looking in the mirror my shave has been done
My mother will think she has a different son
I can't decide if I like my new look
I'm entirely grateful my razor didn't get stuck
