Breast Cancer Awareness

Susan G. Komen started her own breast cancer foundation and as a result she helped many Women in our nation.
What can other people including myself do to help support this great woman's efforts? I have a few suggestions on how we can raise breast cancer awareness. I recommend people to get a good general practice Doctor. Then, women and men could educate themselves about breast cancer. They should start getting their mammograms every year once they reach the age of forty and remember that early detection is the key to conquering breast cancer. People can learn how to perform a self check breast exam. Men and women can learn about breast cancer together since this disease effects both sexes.
Most people go on walks to support breast cancer awareness because exercise helps reduce your chances of getting cancer. A lot of people wear the pink ribbons to raise breast cancer awareness. I believe the best way to raise breast cancer awareness is through educating myself about my family history, knowing how to do a self check breast exam.
The most important thing I can do is share my knowledge about breast cancer with my family and give monetary support to the Susan B. Coleman foundation. I hope that everyone in the world will support breast cancer organizations and raise awareness on this topic.
Breast cancer has killed millions of people and remember that nobody wants cancer but it can happen to anyone. I make this valid point because unless people can identify with this disease they don't worry about a cure for it. I encourage people to spread awareness about breast cancer in their local communities and best wishes.
