The Breeze of Nairobi

Enveloped in the breeze of Nairobi

Enshrouding my soul

With the sound of blissful children

Karibu, karibu

Marveling at their resilience

Simple joy and gratitude

I find myself amidst such love

Karibu, karibu

We tend to measure by possessions

But this day i've changed the scale

These children show the meaning of

Karibu, karibu

Enveloped in the breeze of Nairobi

Transformed into a different man

With a great and wealthy knowledge

Karibu, karibu

thanks so much Valerie!

what an experience!!! we drove up in our bus and the kids met us at the beginning of the driveway! they followed us to the orphanage singing the whole way! the delight in their eyes, the simple joy, they poured out an innocent love that melted everything I was! absolutely remarkable! despite their circumstance, they showed us unconditional love, a true testament of Christ like love for us missionaries! really put things into perspective!!!

wish you well valerie

thanks again
