His puppy dog chewed his favourite slippers
There were fur balls everywhere
It was desperate to spend a number two so it pooped itself on every stair

He didn’t want a bulldog
His Granny left him it in her will
She thought it would keep her Grandson company
She just bought him then took ill

Buster the British bulldog
Slobbered all over the floor
So Brian shut him the kitchen
The daft thing chewed the bottom of the door

It ran amok thru the hallway
Peed on his new expensive mat
Brian put it in his garden
But Buster barked at nextdoors cat

What a nightmare of an animal
Twas making Brian’s life sheer hell
If he’d wanted a dog he would have bought one
That’s what he told his Mother Belle

Alas this was his dear Granny’s wishes
She adored her beloved Buster
Tho if it didn’t start & toe the line
Brian would be giving it a knuckle duster

Well it’s ten years passed Monday since Granny died
Brian & Buster are quiet a pair
They go out jogging every morning
They both love the open air

Buster is a well trained house-dog
Brian wouldn’t be without his pet
The only downside of owning him
Is it costs a fortune if he needs a vet
