Bright Darkness

It comes in waves of varied strength

Her essence lingers in varied length

Its all i have to just relent  

Or prey to gods 

I do repent 

I long to touch the bright within 

To dive beneath her feathered wing

I ache to touch the bright dark side

But in the light,

I do just hide

Its all a simple

Game they stage 

That is played  upon my nervous rage 

That leaves me

 In this mind fucked stage 

To linger on the day 

I never tell her how i feel

I CAN NOT 

For i have no will

But to linger in the bright

Hidden again in plain sight 

They may never come a night

I get to touch her face
