Brighter Days

Brighter Days

Lay down in the valley,
Say another prayer,
Then take a breath inhaling,
Exhaling all the cares.
If sun does not shine brightly,
Look instead for moon,
For it still glimmers some light,
With stars in heaven, too.
If winds blow then consuming,
A storm which to endure,
Hold tight to this soon passing,
As hope will be secure.
If wounded by a loved one,
Remember just one thing,
That others still around you,
They love you all the same.
Don't give up on tomorrow,
For there are better days,
And when darkness surrounds you,
Remember just to pray.
