Poem -

Broken Angel...

Broken Angel...

Risking our lives for the human kind,
We're the ones to be called upon in troubled times,
We work hours and hours just to get back that happy smile,
For in this dark period of human life, we try to save you time after time.

With tired eyes and slumped shoulders, we carry on as broken angels,
A tired mind with all this coronavirus, we carry on as broken angels,
With wings wide and testing moments, we carry on as broken angels
As broken angels...

Families turned away because the spread of this infection,
Stay at home, we're saving you, please, it's for your own protection,
Minute after minute , hour after hour, I hope you clapped your hands,
We're all on the frontline it's our health, your health, I hope you understand.

We're not special,
We're not extra ordinary,
We just work hard, as you all do,
But this time, it's us saving you!

So I hope you clapped your hands,
For the workers woman and man,
We're still trying to do all we can!

With tired eyes and slumped shoulders, we carry on as broken angels,
A tired mind with all this coronavirus, we carry on as broken angels,
With wings wide and testing moments, we carry on as broken angels
We carry on...
As Broken Angels. xXx

Great theme, Wayne.Β  We should all be grateful to the ones working hard to get this virus in control and those also who are stocking grocery shelves and working hard to be sure we are taken care of with our necessities.Β  I hope you and your family stay safe during this time of isolation....Thank you to the doctors and nurses who are witnessing a sad history of deaths from this disease.Β  xo ;)Β
