Poem -

broken angel

There once was a little girl
An angel
She had a bright smile
She had great white wings that touched the sky
That angel got hurt
She witnessed fighting she couldn't stop
That angel got torn in half
Not knowing who to believe
It was raining dark feathers
She's losing her wings
The angel once happy
Now sad
Her family is torn apart
Years later, the fight still continues
As that angel is still falling
Not knowing where she will land
In darkness or in light?
That angel, now grown up sees the truth
She sees the truth about life
And that angel wants no part of it
Her wings tattered and torn
Once white
Now black
Her smile , does not exist
That angel
She is falling
She is broken
That angel is no more
