Broken glass confinement.

Broken glass confinement.

Somewhere somehow
The glass broke
Shattered into pieces
No longer was she confined to silence
the little girl had a voice
Unspoken words and thoughts many years trapped inside
The silence was to become
past tense
Escaped to vocalize her feelings
Free to speak of her sorrows
To sing with the birds upon morrows light
Free to teach of wisdom and love
Beneath candlelight
Free to scream i love you at the top of her lungs
for the world to hear , I'm here, I'm here
This little girl could talk
Humming humbly through the park
as she took a walk
Singing to the ducks in the pond
Whistling with the breeze in tender loving song
Her beautiful heart beating along
A silent girl was she
Now a memory singing in her dreams
of all she wishes to be
That brave heart
A fighting mind escaped the glass
Her voice confined
Singing laughing within the rain
No more silent hidden pain
Dancing happily once again
Her words once silent
You now can hear
Life for this little girl became so clear
to stand strong and speak out loud
escape the confining glass
And surrounding dark cloud.
