Broken Heart; Shattered Mind

Broken Heart; Shattered Mind

As I silently dwell beneath the frigid rain, I stare up into the vivid skies of the calming night, trying to slaughter these constant familiar emotions that never bring upon sheer mercy.
The pain has an interesting ability that aids its viciousness with immunity to being overtaken, I suppose, but when the pain isn't devouring me, even for a few precious minutes, I once again am reminded that my shallow eternity is preoccupied with longing for my beloved light.
My broken memories shatter like glass within my psyche, covering the floor of my twisted mind with pieces of sharp shards that contain even the vaguest hint of the one thing that will not perish--you. I am forced, bound even, to cry out for your remembrance, because I am left to strive to feel something, to feel the slightest emotions that just do not come naturally anymore.
With the knowledge of your absence, my crippled mind is screaming. Such a pure, indescribable, vibrant experience. For something that is supposed to come about with the human mind naturally, it is something that most take for granted--to feel. I feel for you.
In honor of our compassionate affection, or what it had been known as at the time when you were mine, my scarring tears are streaming.
As I glare painfully at the darkened clouds of emptiness above, I remember my active desires to die. To die with the faith of seeing you in another life, my whole physical embodiment harshly embraces Death's quiet, but reassuring shove. I fall carelessly to the frosted ground, feeling the comforting heat of my worn body fade. This is where I will forever remain to lie.
For you, beloved, I will savor my last breath even if, wherever you may be, whoever you may be engaged with, you remember that Fate wrote within the novel of my life, that in my heart you are always supposed to be mine. For eternity, your beautiful, breathtaking essence is what I lack, as I close my eyes and let the spiritual ones open anew. Remember, my soul only moves on for you.
