Broken Too

Young love,
Turns us into some kind of a fool
We go along with whatever they think
Is cool,
Losing ourselves in the room
Doing those things way too soon

Giving ourselves away
To a person who will never stay
It's sad that even today
People like the old me
Think that's the only thing
That they can be

I guess they were broken too

It's not all they're good at
But it's all people treat them
Like they're good for

So they go to a place where
Feelings are no more
And they know for sure

That they're broken too,
Broken too

Have you ever thought that
They were taken for granted
Too many times,
That they'll never be fine
So they're convinced
Of what others say

So they sell themselves away
To a person who will never stay
It's sad that even today
People that broken
Learn to never love again
