Poem -
Brother can you see me?
11 years,
that's all i had
To live in the shadow of my hero
11 years
was all it took
to love someone so unconditionally
that when you died,
you took my soul with you..
Your charming smile, that could light a room
your sparkling eyes without even a tinge of gloom
the strong arms, holding me tight on long nights
we were all we had, each others best friend,
"baby sister do not cry i will always be here" as you would wipe tears from my eyes..
Here i sit,
20 years old
where are you now?
why do i cry alone?
a single night.. a single rope..
was all it took..
you promised me you would stay forever..
My life was left, hanging in the ropes that clutched the life from your neck..

But rest a sure, he has not left you alone, he remains there, still wiping the tears from your eyes, as you speak and as long as you continue to speak of him, he will always share that smile that lights up the room that you speak of and keep so dear to your heart.Remember him as he was and how he would have wanted you to, ,just as he remembers you, as his little sister and to always will ever be, his best friend.Keep your head up young lady and he sets beside you each and every day you wake to a new.

i can relate to this my son was saved from the rope your brother believe me is looking down on you and your poem on behalf of him shows how much you care keep your strength and your belief that you will see him someday i as a mother still worry and i believe that he will wait for me if that happens so believe that he is there waiting tina x i feel your pain !
