Buried alive

I've been buried alive
Unable to determine my length of time
Scratching to get out my fingernails are gone
Embedded deep splinters my cuticles are gone
Encased in Wood the pain is excruciating
Feverishly clawing at this impenetrable wood
My persistence continues in hopes of release
My feet are just as bad
Toe nails peel back
Snapping of splinters digging in deep
The Sting so strong I pass out
Waking up with the pain only to
Claw with all four yet some more
Beads of sweat and blood cover my body
The sawdust I've made only thickens the air
I stare into darkness
My eyes salty sweating with tears
This is my life how did I get here
Moving only inches this way or that
Unable to turn I remain on my back
In and out of reality
Constantly scratching the wood
The pain only increases
I suppose it only could
I stopped for a minute to relax my rage
Realizing that
I have dug my own grave.

Hey KILIAN!!.....you definitely conveyed the claustrophobic terror of being buried alive beautifully here......one thing, did you intentionally use the word "varied " in the first line instead of buried?..... if so, I just wanted to point out the uniqueness of that choice!!...... some VERY compelling phrasing within!!......ALL STARS!!..... well done brother poet!!...... LOVE and ROCKETS!!.......T ?✳✴☀
Hi Tony Taylor.Thank you for your comment I really enjoy the fact that somebody is reading what I write. And yes it was supposed to say buried. I am really working on my technique and my words I have just started writing poems.
