Burning Man

Burning Man

A man was set up, to be burned.
To go down with others, he learned.
Without having regrets,
No control he let,
His fate can make a possible turn.

If someone would be open, and tell,
The truth, could surely ring a bell,
Awareness is a plus,
In flames they thrust,
Poor chap can hide in a well,

A twist of fate, to make for another,
Not fair, not even for a mother,
The flames will be hot,
All troubles forgot,
No time, not even for a lover,

I wish my life would take a turn,
My choice is that I don't want to burn,
Without human contact,
Shameful as a fact,
Will my ashes be put in an urn.
