Your burning the candle at both ends
This will catch up with you
Living it up at weekends
With no rest the whole week thru

You think you are invincible
But you need to get some calm
This constant living the ‘highlife’
Is bound to do you harm

You are spreading oneself too thin
Staying on the treadmill with overdo
Why are you taking on too much?
Biting off more than you can chew

I would tell you to take a vacation
Yet that wouldn’t be helping you
Coz knowing what your like
You would party the whole time too

Give yourself some breathing space
I’m only saying this coz I care
Life is not a marathon race
You are looking the worse for wear
