Poem -
BURNT TOAST (HANGOVER FROM HELL)
Too much alcohol from the night beforeΒ
My head is still spinning that's for sureΒ
I looked online for the perfect hangover cure
This proved negative my head still spinning more
It was in the papers something caught my eyeΒ
Burnt toast cures hangovers so I gave it a try
I never have thought of that I'm not going to lie
I was now getting desperate my mouth was becoming dryΒ
This hangover was proving to be the hangover from hellΒ
That's when I noticed the terrible smell
The bread didn't turn to toast so well
Burnt both sides to set off the smoke alarm bell

Have been there many times Kieran but never tried the burnt toast cure. Maybe it's charcoalΒ soaks up the leftover offerings from the night before. Who knows? Lovely write. Hope you're feeling better. DD x
