Bus stop bustle

Bus stop bustle

I don't hear their talk
I hear the sound when their tongues touch their teeth
And gasp of their throat when they breath
I don't hear them walk
I hear the click and scrape of their heels
And the rubber treading on floor making a squeal

I don't hear words I hear sound
I don't hear walks I hear the sound in between when feet touch the ground

Hi Ellie… I heard those sounds too when waiting for the bus in Chicago.  This is piece is rich with imagery.

Well done!
