By The End Of It All

By the end of it all
Nothing will be left unbroken
When the world turns to dustĀ
Beneath my feet
I watch myselfĀ
From across the room
Falling into a trap Iā€™ve set for myselfĀ
Iā€™ve stabbed myself in the back
My own worst enemyĀ
All I seeĀ
Are the wounds and scars
Iā€™ve inflicted upon myself
At leastĀ
I broke my own heart
Before anyone else could do it for meĀ

Ā
