BYE BYE BALLOON

BYE BYE BALLOON

Higher and higher the balloon wentĀ
Towards the sky by this child it was sent Ā
No longer seen now from the ground
Taken by the wind and making no soundĀ

The balloon once this child's delight Ā
Gone forever and completely out of sight Ā
Where will it end up and where will it land Ā
On a field somewhere or perhaps an oasis of sandĀ

This balloon I hope will last forever moreĀ
One heavy rainstorm and I'm not so sureĀ
Goodbye balloon and wherever you may beĀ
Be safe and careful on your long and winding journeyĀ Ā

My Dear Friend Kieran,

I kind of got a feeling, that the child sent the balloon up to Heaven, for a loved one, that they were missing.
This was a very tender write.

Love,
Larry xxx
