Poem -
The Bypass
The joining of two parts
Avoiding the bad middle
Remembering partial
That awful smell of midden
Use to the older road
But never the older ways
Side stepping all the risk
Who gives a care for it's weak
Sadness comes with the crowds
Many reasons to leave town
Prideful men and their crow
The bypass avoids their toll
Don't stop just outside town
Village built from escapees
Make for a built in frown
Family and friends the trustees

Wassup Nate?.....been missing you around here..........this is a VERY interesting write my friend..........sometimes taking the bypass does make you miss the old road.........and often times the old road is the best..........but what got me thinking here.........was whether or not your write was conveying "Out with old and in with the new" ........or just that in taking the bypass you miss a lot because the town itself is missed...........or maybe I'm just reading too much into this..........regardless ,,......it got me thinking..........I LOVE that about your writes.............Love and Rockets!!...........T xo
