Can I be me

      Can’t I be me 
why would I not 
I know for a fact I’m not like God 
but I’m trying to be
      I listen I learn I struggle I teach 
I even sometimes try to preach 
what He has done for me 

     Can’t I be me 
I mean who else am I
i was raised to rise and shine. And thank the Lord 

     Can’t I be me why can’t  
everyone see 
The. Holy Spirit is my reward
