If you carry your cross willingly, it will carry you
Lead you to your goal where suffering leads to truth
If you carry your cross grudgingly it becomes a heavy burden
If you throw off one cross another pops up in your garden
Do you think you can escape what no mortal ever could or even dare
Can you name a saint who was without the cross or some affliction to bare
Even Jesus Christ, while on this earth, was not without the pain of his passion
Christ's entire life was a cross and martyrdom, can't you find compassion
The greater the height a man reaches in his spiritual life
The heavier he finds his cross in his interior strife
There is nothing more acceptable to God
Nothing more beneficial in this world
Than being willing to suffer
If given the choice
It's this you should prefer........

Dear Tony, this is so meaningful . So very special and truly we can not deny we benefit from trusting and learning greater depths of loving compassion for others throughout our lives on earth. We are not fluffy clouds floating above it all but sent here to live, experience, share what we learn from the lessons of identifying with the suffering others endure as well and caring while supporting them in any way we can in the midst of their pain. I loved the wisdom in this one T` We are all little workers in the big sceme of things and we all have our own talents and values and that is what God wants from us, to simply love for the good of others.
There is a young gentleman in Chicago called Rocky Clark, he was a collage footballer but sadly got his neck broken and the story of his suffering is so awful but his soul and sheer humanity shines through with pure love for others, because he doesn`t give in and is still an inspiration to the young people over there, even though he is paralised from the neck down, he now coaches the next generation and has worked so hard to get himself through collage at the same time and is also a great artist, doing art work through the computer he has to use with his mouth!. He is a true example of Gods love and endurance, no matter what the problem is, love will get you through. A special piece this time T` well done sweety, I Love You. G xx
