Can you feel it?

Can you feel it?

                   Can you feel it?

The gentle grass resting in the grace of your precious little hands,
(Like strings of fate connecting us when we’re apart)
The cruel sun beating down on your gorgeous face,
(Like the lies I tell you when you ask if I’m okay)
The quiet breeze running through your hair as if they were god's fingers,
(Like brushing your hair away from your face so I can get lost in your eyes)
The sun slowly setting on the horizon
(As we say our goodbyes)
Waking up from my dream about the past
(Finding you in my arms)
Maybe I truly am at peace
(As the sun fades to black)

                    “From me to you”
