~ CANCEROUS ~

                                    Ladder the earth
                                     Scorched mind
                                  In all imitation's intent
                                     I thread the eye
                                       Of needless
                                          Viscera,
                                           Vomit,
                                         A snake's
                                           Decay..

I can't say I understand what this us about Tony but it sure does pack a venomous bite. I felt so cold reading as as was probably your intention... so five stars my friend x

My condolences for the person you witnessed fade away.

The soul suffering radiates a forcefield of it's own.

When there skin and bone yet the eyes still open and the voice is sweet.

Eaten alive is yucky indeed, better off dead when comfortably numb fails.
Never easy on the living to say with hardly a sentence a tearful gone to soon goodbyes.
My love to you and hugs two.
My Dear friends of sorrow and strife at that level we unite.

Hi Tony,
Very poignant with intresting depth.
Someone took a poem title of mine
and added a word - can you imagine such an illiterate act.
Love,
Terry.
xoxo :)

Hello Tony,
This is such a painful one to read. For me you captured that cold sickly realisation death gives you when you lose a love one. It creeps inside you, then hits you with its sting. That is what I felt reading this. Marion sums it up well with that word cold. The structure of this piece gives a good sense of the shifts in the emotion as it settles the reality into the pit of your stomach. Like the movement of a snake in fact. Just my take.

I am so very sorry you lost your lovely friend

It is always a difficult subject Tony and challenging as well in approaching this unforgiving and widespread cruellest of cruel disease.
I second what Marion and Gwen have echoed.
And the snake perhaps used as a metaphor filled with poison.
And my condolences for your loss.
