Cancers

Ten thousand five hundred and fifty three
That was the distance at birth from you and me
Across the ocean, a cross follower and a child of the star and crescent would grow up to be 'We'
We, raised so differently but so similarly
We both having been sent away from our families
We shared pain, the strongest metal for any bond
Stronger than nickel, only reason Heads and Tails could hold hands and get along
To make a long story short, a pair of star-crossed lovers managed to grow strong.
We should have known then how our story would unfold
And although they say anything in love and war goes
You only had time for one of those two woes
With a Syriously bad pun and many ridiculous lows
In a jail we made ourselves we managed to have fun
They said the cage was in our heads turned out it was in yours
When cells begin to multiply, sadly there's no cure
A lousy fly, I standed by
A self-Destructing ship where I was stranded by
Our very love, the very love you sought to indemnify
But post mortem memories aren't something you are always haunted by
In your logic you made a mistake, against your sin I will testify
For we’d all do well to remember: Love is not something to quantify.
