CANOPY OF DESPAIR

Beneath a sky of onyx hue,
A mind takes flight, a mournful crow.
Fear's thunder roars, a dreadful cue,
As silver lightnings fiercely glow.

The crow aspires, a peacock's flair,
But shadows cling, a captive heart.
Forgotten dreams, beyond repair,
As nature's wrath tears world apart.

The rain, a scourge, relentless fall,
Carries lives away, a mournful plight.
The river's beauty, a distant call,
Replaced by corpses, shrouded in night.

Hills crumble, rocks and stones collide,
Innocence lost, a tragic plea.
A world in chaos, where hope has died,
Beneath a sky of misery.
