Poem -

Can't Be Broken

I've shattered like glass

that's all in the past.

Only a couple helped me pick up the
pieces

and spent time with glue in hand.

As we all know,

that will only hold

Grandmas favorite holiday plate so long

before the jig is up

and it's chipping and cracking

all over the place.

Can't really replace it,

it won't be the same.

What to do?

Think outside the box, best you can,

following your gut

placing all your trust in one who

is paid to help you -

and you get a whole new team.

Save what you can of what is left

luckily, large chunks

and craft around all of that.

Make it brand new

using the sentimental and recyclable.

Takes some time and someone(s) with
impeccable skills

to help in getting it -

just right.

Reinforced,

renovated, definitely not what it once
was.

Worth way more now and appreciated

due to all that went into this creation

that was so worth saving.
