Captivate

Thank you, Angel.

I woke up nervous, became grumpy, then took a nice long, cold walk to ease negative thoughts. While walking, I began praying but this time, I began by saying, Lord -- I know you are real, I know how to live, and I think I understand the paths that lead home. Still, with weak faith, I think about all the times in life that are unplanned, new experiences, new dreams and new positive realms of thought that swirl around, a charcoaled lot. Today, I thanked God, for helping me to keep my cool when angered. Tomorrow, if we make it, will be much better than today.

I know this because, God is literally in everything we do. Well except for those bad decisions, I think those come from a different place in our minds, the area that seeks, adventure, that doesn't care about consequences. Okay, I’ll close.

Thank you for sharing your poem. It inspired me to look deeper, longer and more often at all the beauty, no matter the weather, or ups and downs that are always there, right around the corner, when we least expect them to be, they wait for use to be kicked down again. But with faith, we know how to get back up, stronger then the times previous.
