Carnage in the Kitchen

There's carnage in the kitchen
A maelstrom has torn through the house
It's a scene of disaster
Requiring of a House Elf
There's chaos in the sitting room
Remnants of a night of madness
Flowing wine
And smoke dragons gladness
The bird has left the nest
For climates new.
You walk around the chaos
Taking in the view.
There's carnage in the kitchen
Requiring of bewitchment
There's chaos in the sitting room
But yellow daffodils too
Offering hope.
Today you will live amongst the wreckage
Tomorrow start anew
And Wednesday?
Wake up to a different view..
