CARPE DIEM
Don't waste thoughts for tomorrowÂ
or any day next weekÂ
parties, job interviewsÂ
banquets at which you'll speak.Â
Spend precious time with familyÂ
for they love you more;
compassionate, doting, and pure
whilst friends leave casually.Â
When cockrow goes down to nightÂ
settle down with a glass of wineÂ
Your life is far immortalÂ
leave that frown; make face to shine.
The future is a gambleÂ
against yourself to play
don't pretend you still have time leftÂ
all goes that you wish to stay.Â
Give all you got; you never know
if you'll still be alive for theÂ
moments you dream about
the ' written fate ' comes out without a doubt.Â
