Poem -
CARPE DIEM
Don't waste thoughts for tomorrow
or any day next week
parties, job interviews
banquets at which you'll speak.
Spend precious time with family
for they love you more;
compassionate, doting, and pure
whilst friends leave casually.
When cockrow goes down to night
settle down with a glass of wine
Your life is far immortal
leave that frown; make face to shine.
The future is a gamble
against yourself to play
don't pretend you still have time left
all goes that you wish to stay.
Give all you got; you never know
if you'll still be alive for the
moments you dream about
the ' written fate ' comes out without a doubt.
