CATCHING BUTTERFLIES

 
All over the land and fields it was readily chased
A difficult encounter this young boy faced
For he loved to try and catch a butterfly 
At seven years old you can see the reason why

With bright coloured wings the butterfly flew
Without worry or care that fact is so true
The young boy sure carried a trusty old net 
The butterfly would be smarter I'm willing to bet

Things and young boys change season on season
Some men catch butterflies for no particular reason 
This can't be right I'm sure you agree 
A butterfly should be flying forever and free
