The Cave Of Despair

In the deep and perlious night, there lies a place not seen by eyes.
An awful cavern devoid of all light, the furthest fall from the highest height.
A dearth of clemency plagues and bites, there is no remission, no reason to fight.
Truculent fate bound in indomitable walls of slate. The nights are dark and the days the same,
the hate with teremity slips into your brain. Even if it rained above, you would never know,
the forces present within yourself keep you down below. It's as spacious as you make it,
strong to keep out truth. It breaks you, it makes you, it pulls on your soul; every thought you
have has the pay the hateful toll. You never know the fear because your back is never against
the wall. It seems that the fear of fear is most unfeigned of all. Then you start to think about
the reason that you fell. Why do you deserve to sit waiting at the gates of hell? If you could be
well, how facile you would be; all you want is repose, so you can be at ease. Then you grow,
you get strong, the night just doesn't seem as long. Your mind starts a rebellion, thoughts
defy their host. You think to yourself why must I be lost? That's when hope comes and
lowers down her rope. You grab on with both hands, embarking up alone. The light pierces
the light shines through, leaving no stone unturned, spreading the truth. It catches your sight,
brings a tear to your eye, the strength of alturism enough to make you cry. Finally the day
comes when you won't have to hide, the good of the world will take your side. So ascend on
the infalliable rope of hope, to met with the light, out of your hole. You entered the cavern
timid, afraid, you leave the darkness, kind and brave.
