CELEBRATING LIFE

This day has been edged in time 

It proceeded from God's mind 

A little country in South America 

Was chosen for the place of my birth

And on that rainy Wednesday sixty years ago 

I made my appearance on planet earth 

Some of those years I've had a blast  

Others, I wished had blown away fast

But through it all God has been good to me 

Day by day I found relief 

As his blessings flow from eternity 

Many my equals has exist life's race 

But I am still holding on by God's grace 

I am looking forward to better days ahead 

And I will keep blessing The Lord daily 

For life, health and strength

I do believe that the best is yet to come 

Negative thoughts only brings me down 

So I have made a choice 

To face each day with a smile 

After all, today maybe my 60th birthday 

But in the mind of God, I am still his child.
