From yesterdays bygones of beg, steal or borrows

Coz whats written in the stars will be blowing in the wind

Brushed up in those dust pans, discarded and binned

Whilst we have no control over our life’s destiny

We have no way of knowing what our future will be

One is not a clairvoyant with a mystique crystal ball

And I wonder if a medium could truly prophesize at all

So staying alive is the name of the game

Fighting for survival, we are all exactly the same

From the date of our birth, til that minute we depart
