Chalk Farm

Sorry I love London

Chalk Farm

Chalk Farm, Northen Line
Chaldecot, the Anglo-Saxon
word for Cold Cottage,
oh old London Town..
you make my heart swell
with pride, Northern Line,
the heart of Camden's
vibrancy beats its drum..
Chalk Farm..
a stones throw from Regents Park,
take me Edgeware Road,
away from Trafalga,
to the top of Primrose Hill,
and let me take in the sites
of our heritage. ..
if I had a ha penny spare
I'd spend it there..
